Investigators said 21 people, including 14 children, were injured, TASS reported.

The city is perhaps best known as the home of the AK-47 rifle and as the longtime residence of the Soviet lieutenant general credited with its development, Mikhail Kalashnikov.

Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, composer of Swan Lake and the ballet The Nutcracker, was born in the Udmurtia region.
