Russell Wilson: ‘I will forever have love in my heart for Seattle’

Many football fans were shocked to learn in Steps are that the Seattle Seahawks have agreed to trade nine-time Pro Bowl quarterback Russell Wilson for the Denver Broncos.

Seahawks Jody Allen Chair speak that “Russell made it clear he wanted this change”, but recently report that Seattle phoned the Cleveland Browns before the 2018 NFL Draft about possibly sending a signal caller their way at the time.

All done, and Wilson will be traveling with his new teammate to face none other than the Seahawks in Seattle on Monday night. He spoke to reporters on Thursday and had nothing but kind things to say about his former football home.

“People don’t love you, sometimes they’ll hate you, whatever that might be,” Wilson explains of the upcoming experience, per Josh Alper by Pro Football Talk. “For me, I will forever love Seattle. How many games we won and how many horror games – the Super Bowl we won and everything else. I will think about all those memories, the joy happy about it, grateful for it.”

For a piece published Wednesday, ESPN’s Brady Henderson report that at least one anonymous member of the Seahawks office viewed Wilson as “a descending player” prior to the March transaction. Logic suggests that the one-time Super Bowl champion could use such gossip as bulletin board material for what he hopes will be a happy Monday homecoming.
