The Kansas City Royals get right-handed lead James McArthur from Philadelphia on Monday and appointed midfielder Franmil Reyes to make way on a 40-man roster
The Royal sent junior league midfielder Marin and considered cash for Phillies. McArthur, DFA’d by Phillies last week, will be delivered to Triple-A Omaha
McArthur is 6 feet 7.26 years old, is 9-21 with an ERA of 4.36 in five teen seasons.
Marin, 19, beat 0.348 with seven home runs and 38 RBIs in 62 games in the Dominica Summer League and Royal‘ rookie tournament from 2021-22
Reyes, 27, is hitting a 0.186 ball with two home runs and seven RBIs in 19 games this season. He is a career scorer of 0.249 with 108 home runs for four teams. He had 37 host clubs in 2019.
