IGN – 9/10

“While Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle surprised us all with clever XCOM-style tactics in Nintendo costumes, this sequel maintains the best ideas yet is so self-innovating that it immediately feels It’s bigger and better in every way, with a freer and customizable form of combat and an almost completely revamped underworld that’s less linear and completely filled with puzzles. are played as either a fun cake game or a deep, demanding tactical challenge, all while maintaining a delightful sense of humour.” – Dan Stapleton [Full review]

GamesHub – 5/5

“Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is a game that feels alive – in every corner of its world. In every fast-paced, fast-thinking battle. humorous antics, a real sense of humor and a faint sense of fun.Although the game may be a close cousin of Kingdom Battle, it goes much further, with worlds larger, more vibrant to explore, more sophisticated combat tactics and a true sense of ambition that will take players from sweeping high mountain peaks to dark, bony gardens.” – Leah J. Video Game Chronicles – 4/5

“It’s easy to see the Mario + Rabbids games as a test. Nintendo is willing to give the key to the video game to another developer outside of N’s shadow. close that ban forever Thankfully, with more than its fair share of challenging, engaging gameplay, great visuals, and sheer power in scores, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope should be a good fit to fill developers development with the hope that Nintendo will allow them at the industrial park gold mine.” – Jordan Middler [Full review]

VG247 – 4/5

“Sparks of Hope is immediately more welcoming to newcomers to the genre, and the changes don’t stop there. The battles themselves are much more fluid than we were before. Each character on your party (number and options change as you move through the game) is free to move in a fixed area as much as you like until firing his main weapon or run out of action points Enemy targeting is still handled by choosing the enemy you want to target and you will need to pay attention to the cover you put your characters in before the enemies get their turn, but the whole thing feels less rigid, this was never a term that should be associated with the Mario game. It’s great.” – Tom Orry [Full review]

Digital Trends – 4/5

“Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope shines through with its remastered tactics, setting the stage for some of the best swing economies I’ve seen in the genre to date. It doesn’t fix it though. gets all the problems of its predecessor, but it’s a worthy follow-up – ranks among the best Nintendo Switch exclusives.” – Giovanni Colantonio [Full review]
