Rockstar has unveiled GTA+, a GTA Online subscription membership for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S players.
Starting March 29, players can sign up for a membership for $5.99 a month, and it can be canceled at any time. That cost will get you a recurring monthly GTA$500,000 direct deposit into your Maze Bank account, plus exclusive benefits like waived LS Car Meet Membership fees and more again. Based on Rockstar’s announcement, it looks like the monthly rewards and benefits will change as they list what subscribers will get between March 29 and April 7.
“GTA+ is a new membership program exclusive to GTA Online on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S – launching on March 29 and providing easy access to a range of valuable benefits for both playing new and old on the latest generation consoles,” Rockstars notification read. “Becoming a GTA+ Member you will receive a recurring monthly GTA$500,000 direct deposit into your Maze Bank account, plus the opportunity to pick up properties in and around Los Santos, unlock game updates you might have missed, special vehicle upgrades, Discount Members Only, GTA$ and RP bonuses etc every month. ”
Here’s what the first month of membership – from March 29 to April 27 – attracts subscribers:
- GTA 500,000 dollars automatically sent to your Maze Bank Account.
- The Principe Deveste Eight – along with a free Hao’s Special Works upgrade for it before it goes on sale to the public – along with the HSW Orange Trip and HSW CMYK Glitch Liveries.
- The Auto shop located in La Mesa, introducing a series of gameplay updates from Los Santos Tuners. Existing Auto Store owners can move to La Mesa at no additional cost.
- Free Membership of LS Car Meet fees. Existing LS Car Meet with GTA+ members will be refunded $50,000 GTA for the duration of the event.
- Yacht owners can upgrade to Superyacht Aquarius without additional costs.
- The Gussét Frog Tee and Broker Prolaps Basketball Top and Short automatically added to your wardrobe.
- The Conveyor Livery for Mammoth Avenger, HVY APC and TM-02 Khanjali.
- A selection of free paints and icons for the Auto Shop.
- 3X GTA$ and RP above Hao’s Special Works Race series.
- 2X Car Meet Rep on Street race.
Rockstar says GTA+ members will also be able to purchase the GTA+ Shark Card to provide additional bonuses.
“Every month, GTA+ will offer a new set of members-specific rewards to claim,” Rockstar wrote. “Just head to Legendary Motorsport, Hao’s Special Works, Maze Bank Foreclosures, DockTease and other stores included in the GTA Online web browser to claim and enjoy each term’s Membership benefits before they expire – and all GTA+ benefits are offered in addition to our regular benefits GTA Online events, which will continue to run for all casual players. ”
As you can see from Rockstar’s parlance, players on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC will not have access to this membership program.
