LAS VEGAS – Robbie Knievel, an American stuntman who set a record with his daring motorcycle jumps in the tracks of his tires. his thrill-seeking father — including at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas in 1989 and the Grand Canyon a decade later — passed away in Nevada, his brother said. He was 60.

Robbie Knievel died early Friday at a hospice in Reno after battling pancreatic cancer, Kelly Knievel said.

Kelly Knievel told The Associated Press: “Dredoms don’t live an easy life. “He’s a daredevil. People don’t really understand how scary what my brother did.”

As a young boy, Robbie Knievel started cycling to imitate his famous father, Evel Knievel, who passed away in 2007 in Clearwater, Florida.
