In 1960, Roald Dahl’s 4-month-old son, sitting in a stroller, was accidentally hit by a taxi driver in New York City. Due to an accident, Theo suffered from an increase in fluid in his brain. To help his son recover, Dahl worked with baker Stanley Wade, and his son’s neurosurgeon Kenneth Till, to develop van Wade-Dahl-Till. This not only helps Theo but also a lot of children.
