Revealing the cause of death of her son Tina Turner Ronnie – Hollywood Life

The youngest son of a rock icon Tina Turner passed away at age 62 on December 8 due to complications from colon cancer, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office. He also suffers from atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, each Page Six.
On the same day, tragic news broke out, Tina issue a statement about her son’s death. “Ronnie, you left the world too soon,” she told her Instagram, next to a black and white photo of her with her eyes closed. “In grief, I close my eyes and think of you, my dear son.” Tina picks up Ronnie with her ex-husband Ike Turner right after giving birth to my first son Craigwho died by suicide in 2018 at the age of 59. Tina also adopted two of Ike’s children from previous relationships: Ike Jr. and Michael.
On Thursday, paramedics were dispatched to Ronnie’s home in the San Fernando Valley after a caller reported that Ronnie had trouble breathing and then stopped breathing, according to TMZ. He was pronounced dead at the scene, when bystanders tried to perform CPR. Ronnie’s state of health is unclear, but he is believed to have battled cancer in the past.
Ronnie’s death was later confirmed by his wife of 15 years, the French singer Afida Turner. The 45-year-old star shared her gratitude to her late husband on Instagram, wrote, “My God, Ronnie Turner, a true angel, big hearted, high in spirit, my husband, my best friend, my children.” She added, “This is a tragedy. [You’re] with your brother Craig and your father Ike… Rest in heaven.”
Tina’s son has followed in her footsteps in Hollywood, pursuing his own music career and dabbling in acting. Most notably, he appeared as The Revue in the 1993 biopic about his mother What does love have to do with it?highlighted Angela Bassett as the “Queen of Rock and Roll” and Laurence Fishburne plays ex-husband Ike, each IMDb.
