Meanwhile, Capcom has confirmed that the extreme weather effects of the Resident Evil 4 remake will be alleviated through a patch. Talking to Click Start Australia, game producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi said, “We’ve seen people’s reaction to the rain effect, and we’re working on a one-day patch to adjust.” Fans first noticed the extreme rain effect in one GameInformer gameplay video, where it mimics harshness like Grand Theft Auto of 2021 remake. While it makes sense for heavy rainfall in the context of the story/event, its intensity is too distracting, especially when entering areas of light or when there is a flash of lightning — where it appears as drops of white paint instead of water.

The Resident Evil 4 remake largely follow the same plot as original game 2005, where we play agent Leon S. Kennedy, deployed on a mission to rescue the aforementioned Graham from the clutches of the Los Iluminados cult, based in a spooky Spanish village. In addition to enhancing the visuals, Capcom has made some gameplay changes by adding side quests, more exploration, and more. new block mechanism use a knife. The knife is currently a limited resource, its durability dwindling with repeated use, although it can be upgraded by visiting shops available in select regions.

At the end of last month, Capcom also announced that it has begun development on a virtual reality version of Resident Evil 4. The game will be released on PS VR2 as free DLC for base game owners.
