Capcom’s Resident Evil 4 remake is finally out, and to celebrate the day, the company has released a special launch trailer that reveals what’s to come in the game. This launch trailer also features some exciting news for fans of the original game. That’s because at the end of it, the trailer switches to a screen revealing that The Mercenaries, a mode from the original 2005 release, will be released as free DLC next month.
More specifically, The Mercenaries will launch Resident Evil 4 on April 7. If it’s like the original game’s mode, you’ll need to complete the story of the Resident Evil 4 remake before unlocking The Mercenaries. In this mode, you choose a Resident Evil 4 character and try to destroy as many enemies as possible within a certain time limit. There are leaderboards regarding how well you do, weapons to unlock, and more.
