Report: Judge dismisses charges against Jerry Jeudy of Broncos

Dancer broncos Widespread recipient Jerry Jeudy will not face second-degree felony tampering and domestic violence charges after a judge dismissed both on Tuesday.

“After reviewing the evidence, I always believe that no crime was committed and all charges will be dismissed.” Jeudy’s attorney told ESPN.

The district attorney agreed and recommended to Judge Chantel Contiguglia of Arapahoe County that all charges be dropped. Jeudy was arrested earlier in May after an argument that allegedly did not involve physical violence.

Jeudy, 23, was the Broncos’ first choice in 2020 and finished his rookie season with 856 ball receptions and 3 touchdowns. An ankle injury slowed him down in his second season, and he finished the year with 467 yards and no touchdown.

While Jeudy will not face charges, he could still face punishment from the NFL.
