Report: Jayden Daniels moves to LSU
Arizona State starting quarterback Jayden Daniels will move to LSU, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
Daniels has been ASU’s starter for the last three seasons after becoming the first real freshman in school history to start the first game of the 2019 season. During his time with the Devils Faces In heaven, Daniels hit 32 hits to the ground with 13 interceptions and dashes. Another 13 hits.
His decision to enter the remittance portal in February reported as a surprise to ASU is the program interest from former Oklahoma defender Spencer Rattler when he talked to the university about the possibility of a transfer. Rattler was transferred to South Carolina instead, and former Alabama fullback Paul Tyson now looks likely to start at ASU.
Daniels will now compete with Myles Brennan for a starter role at LSU. Brennan has a chance to start for the Tigers in 2021 but broke his arm in a horrible accident right before the start of the season. With Brennan inactive, the job went to sophomore Max Johnson instead.
Johnson move to Texas A&M in December. Brennan also joined the transfer portal in the 2021 season but Departure in December.
