Reliance Brands of India acquires 51% stake in Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla


Reliance Brands Limited (RBL) has signed a definitive agreement to invest in the Indian operator Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla (AJSK) with a 51% stake. This strategic partnership aims to advance the 35-year-old couture house’s growth plans in India and globally. Headquartered in Mumbai, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla are India’s leading manufacturers, their design legacy beginning in 1986.

Their haute couture label Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla is internationally acclaimed for its cutting-edge quality and classic elegant style. Each ensemble is a delicate mélange. They are best distinguished for showcasing mirrored, crushed cotton and silk, chikankari and khadi as haute couture, the two entities said in a media release.

The brand is best distinguished for embroidery products and offers products for formal, holiday, red carpet and bridal/wedding wear. Fashion house Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla currently has three other labels, ASAL by Abu Sandeep, womenswear, formal, occasion and wedding brands, Gulabo by Abu Sandeep, luxury, casual and formal for women and Mard by Abu Sandeep, a formal and menswear brand.
