Reforms to WA’s abortion laws to be introduced to Parliament after community consult found support of changes
To scan to revolutionize WA’s “outdated” abortion law will soon be introduced into Congress after a public consultation found widespread support for a series of changes designed to streamline access into termination.
More than 17,500 people participated in the consultation process, which took place late last year and surveyed both health professionals and the broader Western Australian public about six amendments to the existing 25-year-old abortion regime of Bang.
