The Redmi Note 12 series will launch in October in China. The Xiaomi subsidiary, through Weibo, confirmed the arrival of the new Note series smartphones in its country of manufacture on Thursday. The upcoming lineup is expected to include three models – Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+. The upcoming phones could be powered by the newly launched MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC. The Redmi Note 12 series will succeed the Redmi Note 11 models launched in 2021.
Chinese smartphone brand via a Weibo post confirmed the arrival of the Redmi Note 12 series in China. The flagship lineup will be announced in October. However, the post does not state the exact launch date and time of the phone. If previous leaks are any indication, the Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ will launch this month.
Follow previous leak, Redmi Note 12 series will be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 1080 6nm octa-core processor. The recently launched chipset combined with ARM Mali-G68 GPU supports a 200-megapixel main camera sensor. It has two ARM Cortex-A78 CPU cores operating at a peak speed of 2.6 GHz. All three models are said to be 5G-enabled handsets.
Recently List of 3C suggests 210W fast charging support in the flagship Redmi Note 12 Pro+ and 120W fast charging support in the Redmi Note 12 Pro. The standard Redmi Note 12 can offer 67W fast charging. The vanilla model is also said to have a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup.
Redmi Note 12 Pro + and previous Redmi Note 12 Pro spot on the TENAA database. The listing recommends a 6.6-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate on a handset. The Redmi Note 12 Pro is said to have a 4,980mAh battery, while the Note 12 Pro+ is expected to have a 4,300mAh battery.
