Redmi K60 series coming with Snapdragon 8 series SoC, 30W wireless charging support

The Redmi K60 series is said to be in production as the next product of the Chinese smartphone company. Now, a Chinese tipper has hinted at a few specifications of the upcoming Redmi K60 series smartphone. It is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 series chipset. Xiaomi is expected to offer this phone with two charging capacities – 67W wired charging + 30W wireless charging and 120W wired charging + 30W wireless charging. The Redmi K60 models are expected to feature a 2K display with a center-aligned punch-hole display.

Tipster digital chat station on Chinese microblogging site Weibo suggestions alleged specifications of the Redmi K60 series smartphones. According to the leak, the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 series chipset. There can be two variants with different charging capabilities. One variant of the Redmi K60 series of smartphones is said to come with 67W and 30W wireless charging capabilities, while the other variant may offer 120W and 30W wireless charging support.

Redmi K60 series is expected to succeed Redmi K50 lined up. Details of the Redmi K60 series available leaked recently online. According to the leak, this handset will have a punch-hole screen design and the screen will have 2K resolution. Upcoming models are also said to offer 100W charging support.

They are said to carry a 50-megapixel primary rear camera sensor and could pack an in-display fingerprint scanner for authentication. The Redmi K60 models are said to feature a Sony IMX766 sensor. Xiaomi is expected to implement a feature similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island on upcoming devices. The company’s China President Lu Weibing before request users if they want to see the “smart island” function on Xiaomi handsets.

However, Xiaomi has yet to officially confirm any details about the Redmi K60 series, so these details should be considered a bit of a salt.
