Realme launches its most affordable smartphone with a fingerprint scanner, starting at Rs 7,499

Realme C30s here. The Chinese smartphone brand has announced a new entry-level smartphone under the C series in India. The company’s latest smartphone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 5000mAh battery, and runs the latest version of the Android operating system. In addition, this phone also has an anti-slip design.
Realme C30s: Price and Availability
The Realme C30s will be available in two color options – Striped Blue and Striped Black. The phone comes in two RAM and memory combinations – 2GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. The base 2GB variant of the C30s is priced at Rs 7,499, while the higher variant with 4GB RAM costs Rs 8,999.
The first sale of the handset is scheduled for midnight September 22 for Flipkart Plus members and September 23 for other buyers. The handset will also be available for purchase through the official Realme website.
At this price, the smartphone will compete with the recently launched Redmi A1 smartphone.

Realme C30s: Features
Features of Realme C30s a micro-textured anti-slip design. It is 8.5mm thin and weighs 182 grams. The smartphone features a 6.5-inch LCD display, which has a peak brightness of 400 nits and offers a screen-to-body ratio of 88.7%.
One of the key features of the smartphone is that it comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, which, according to the company, is the only smartphone to offer in this segment.
Under the hood, the Realme C30s comes with a Unisoc SC9863A chipset. It is an octa-core SoC paired with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
In terms of camera, the phone is equipped with an 8MP AI rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera at the front.
