Myself introduced a new budget 5G smartphone – Realme 9i 5G – in India. The smartphone comes with a 90Hz LCD display, Density 810 chipset and a 50MP triple camera setup. Realme 9i 5G joins in Samsung Galaxy M13 5G, Redmi Note 11T 5G and Poco M4 5G, are some other 5G smartphones priced under Rs 15,000 in India. So let us compare them and find out which one offers the best value for your money.
All phones have LCD screens
The Realme 9i 5G has a 6.6-inch FHD IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The Galaxy M13 5G comes with a 6.5-inch PLS LCD display with FHD resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, both Redmi Note The 11T 5G and Poco M4 5G have a 6.6-inch FHD+ 90Hz IPS LCD panel.
Four phones with the same GPU and running on MediaTek processors
All three – Realme 9i 5G, Redmi Note 11T 5G and Poco M4 Pro 5G – are powered by Mediatek’s Dimensity 810 chipset. Meanwhile, Density 700 chipset powering the Galaxy M13 5G. Furthermore, all four smartphones have the same Mali G72 MC2 GPU.
Only Xiaomi and Poco phones offer higher 8GB RAM option
These four smartphones offer up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. Realme 9i 5G and Galaxy M13 5G have up to 6GB of RAM while Redmi Note 11 5G and Poco M4 Pro 5G offer up to 8GB of RAM.
Runs on Android 12 out of the box
All four smartphones come with Android 12 pre-installed. However, they run different custom skins. Realme 9i 5G comes with Realme UI 3 and Galaxy M13 5G running OneUI Core 4. Redmi Note 11T and Poco M4 5G run MIUI 12.5. However, the Poco M4 5G comes with the Poco launcher instead of the built-in MIUI launcher.
How the cameras compare
The Realme 9i 5G has a triple camera setup consisting of a pair of 50MP and 2MP sensors. The Galaxy M13 5G has a pair of 50MP and 2MP cameras at the back. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 11T 5G and Poco M4 5G share the same camera setup – a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera.
On the front, the Realme 9i 5G has an 8MP sensor while the Galaxy M13 5G has a 5MP sensor. And again, both – Redmi Note 11T and Poco M4 5G – have the same 16MP sensor on the front for selfies.
Which one cost how much?
Realme 9i 5G starts at Rs 14,999 for 4GB + 64GB. The same storage variant of the Galaxy M13 is priced at Rs 13,999. 4GB + 64GB of Redmi Note 11T 5G and Poco M4 Pro 5G are priced at Rs 14,999.
