Breaking Bad fans should be more excited for this year’s Super Bowl thanks Popcorner. Bryan Cranston (Walt Whitman), Aaron Paul (Jesse Pinkman), and Raymond Cruz (Tuco Salamanca) all reunited in the premiere of PopCorners Super Bowl LVII advertisement (see below) will air in the big game on February 12, nearly ten years after the hit AMC series ended airing. Raymond, 61 years old, spoke to hollywood life EXCLUSIVE and said it was “surreal” to play Tuco, the famous drug lord. But Raymond also admitted that he’s not sure if he’ll play Tuco again in the future. Breaking Bad-related projects

“It is a difficult task. I say it with trepidation, because it’s not easy the first time,” Raymond explained. “It’s not easy to replay it on Better Call Saul. And it’s certainly not easy to do in a PopCorners ad,” he added. “It is too heavy for you. That is very high energy. Even if Tuco doesn’t say anything, it’s still boiling underneath.”

The actor admitted that he didn’t “miss anything” playing Tuco, who died in season 2 of the movie. Breaking Badbut appeared in the prequel series Better Call Saul main character Bob Odenkirk. “It was hard to do,” Raymond also said of the role.

Raymond also shared how he got back to Tuco’s mindset to commercial filming. “Luckily I wrote everything down. So whenever I build a character, I write everything down. So I’ve got my notes,” he said. “You have to redo all the work. I’m not like Tuco. So I had to go back and find exactly where I was. How I built it, you know, mentally, physically, emotionally, where the character lives. And then you have to recreate that. And to have this platform to do that is amazing.”

Raymond told HL How excited he was to play Raymond again and reunite with his two friends old co-star, for the PopCorners Super Bowl commercial. “Surprised when PopCorners contacted you that they wanted to recreate the whole thing Breaking Bad environment and bring these iconic characters together,” he told HL. “Going back to the same environment with the same RV they used on the show and wearing the same wardrobe, it all feels so bizarre. It’s almost like it never happened. It’s like a dream.”

Raymond said that filming with Bryan and Aaron “felt as if we stepped back into the Breaking Bad universe. It feels as if we never left, even though this time has passed.” Raymond also said Breaking Bad Fans will “laugh out loud” from the ad, thanks to PopCorners’ “variations” on it. “They will love it,” he said.
