Ravens will work with Jackson long term after the season

Recent reports have indicated that a new deal between Baltimore and the 2019 NFL MVP is not sureand it was Jackson who gave the unofficial deadline of Friday early this week. Ravens All-Pro tight end Mark Andrews and former NFL quarterback and ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky are among those who expressed no concern that the contract situation will affect how Jackson plays this fall.

Orlovsky not only considers Louisville products as Select 2022 MVPbut said that Baltimore is the favorite in the AFC.

Jackson finished last season with 2,882 yards of passes, 16 touchdowns and 13 interceptions, while adding 133 runs with 767 yards of charge and two touchdowns in 12 games. He missed five competitions due to an ankle injury.

Team The Raven opens the 2022 regular season at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday against the New York Jets.
