The rapper is now a first-time mother, sharing the news with fans via Instagram on Wednesday, November 2, “After hours of labor, I finally gave birth to a baby girl by caesarean section. A few things are complicated and she doesn’t want to appear alone,” she explained to fans, detailing the experience in her caption. She calls the birthday “the scariest yet most rewarding day of my life by far. Never felt a love like this before. She is the best thing ever [happened] with me.” She also thanked her partner Dom “for giving me the greatest gift in the world and for being such a wonderful father. Love you both so much.”
The singer revealed the gender of her baby on June 19 through an extremely adorable video of her boyfriend Dom Fenison opening an umbrella. on Instagram. Doing so will launch a flurry of pink confetti, revealing that the couple is about to have a baby girl. “We’re having a baby girl!!!” Chanel wrote, thanking Dom for “coming” [her] life” and “love her”. “I know you’ll be the best dad in the world!”
It should be known that Chanel certainly worked hard to prepare for the arrival of her daughter. As a musical artist, she even decided to “trim down” the kind of lyrics she wrote so her daughter could hear and enjoy.
