Random: Shigeru Miyamoto appears to be uncredited in Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom
One name we’re quite familiar with when seeing Nintendo game credits is Shigeru Miyamoto, but it looks like he’s not in the latest Zelda game Echoes of wisdom.
Interview with Hyrule’s Max Nichols noted that this is apparently the “first Zelda game” in which the creator of the series does not appear in the credits (via Nintendo Everything). As the source mentioned, Miyamoto is now 71 years old and no longer “directly leads” many teams.
Series co-creator Takashi Tezuka is also absent from the credits of the latest Zelda game, although this is not the first case. The credits also reportedly show that 53% of the 338 credited on Echoes of Wisdom “have never been credited on a Zelda title before”.
In recent years, Miyamoto has spent time promoting Nintendo’s theme parks and more recently the Nintendo Museum. If you haven’t played Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, in our Nintendo Life review we called it a bold blend of new and old that matches the best of the series.
