Rams 2022 win total: Hard to dislike defensive champions

Needless to say, things went smoothly for the Los Angeles Rams last season. They made a big move of the season bringing in quarterback Matt Stafford from Detroit, and it paid off in the form of a Super Bowl title.

This season, they have gone to great lengths to keep the team intact and reward their most important players, such as receiver Cooper Kupp and defensive midfielder Aaron Donald.

Believing the murder offense was the key to their success, the Rams added Allen Robinson to the receiving team, and with some better health, they should also be more active backstage.

On defense, the Rams didn’t stand their ground. They are happy to have added defensive midfielder Bobby Wagner from rival Seattle and will play well on that side once again, although they have to worry about the health of top cornerback Jalen Ramsey, currently in the squad. PUP list.

The Rams are a great bet to win all over again, but they certainly sacrificed some depth for last year’s big payoff and maybe this year too. That and playing in a challenging division and with a challenging schedule is why their winning totals are not set higher.

2022 Total Wins at Los Angeles Rams

Above 10.5 (-110)
Under 10.5 (-110)

Best bet: Over 10.5

It’s not a leap, I suppose, to think that the Super Bowl champions will come back very well again. This number is not too high, but with such odds, it seems that the market is quite divergent in the potential of this team’s regular season. Me too. I like more but not much.

I’m really looking forward to the opening game of the NFL season between the Rams and the Buffalo Bills. Not only is it a very entertaining game, but it’s also a classic fun spot with a team that wants to prove something (Buffalo) against a team that can be a bit fat and fun to start with (Rams). I really liked Buffalo at the opener.

With trips to rivals Arizona and San Francisco in the first four games, the Rams are vulnerable to falling below .500 after the first quarter of the season. Things got a little easier in the end but not too much as the Rams entered the AFC West, the best league in football from top to bottom.

After that rough start, the Rams got Dallas and Carolina at home before saying goodbye to the week. Those are the matches where they can show that they still have the potential to win. If they get stuck in the first few games, place big bets on them in these games.

The Rams’ goodbye week comes in Week 7, which is in my opinion a bit earlier than ideal – especially for a veteran team perhaps looking to take a break at the end of the season to make a playoff capacity.

Bye, the Rams had a little more time to prepare for a home appointment with San Francisco, followed by a visit from Arizona a few weeks later (with a trip to Tampa Bay in between). Those three games will determine who wins the NFC West and whether the Rams can make it through this whole season. I think they can do all three, but it still won’t be an easy journey.

After that, they still had games at Kansas City and Green Bay. Those are not places that are easy to win or teams that are easy to beat.

I like what happened with the Rams because it’s a talented and well-trained team. It won’t be easy though. I’d rather play them repeatedly at champions and get that bonus than refund them. That risk is a lot better.
