Rahul Gandhi talks opposition unity as he flags off Bharat yatra | India News

KANYAKUMARI: In your biggest public embrace of opposing solidarity between efforts from different regions to create an anti-BJP bloc, Conference leader Rahul Gandhiwhile kicking off the launch of ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ here on Wednesday, said the “misuse” of the organs of the Modi government would not “fear” any of the opposition leaders who will continue to fight BJP“divisive politics”. The extension of his attack range by seemingly representing and protecting all opposition leaders marked a major shift.
Mr Rahul also said “the country is headed for disaster” as the country is facing its worst financial crisis ever, along with the highest unemployment and price increases since. up to now.
At a public meeting in the southernmost part of the country to unveil the Bharat Jodo Yatra, Rahul said the national flag – representing guaranteed rights to freedom of religion and language – was under attack.
He also mentioned “taking over” the institutions of the BJP. “They think they can terrify the opposition with ED, CBI, IT. The problem is they don’t understand the Indian people, that the Indian people are not afraid. No matter how many hours they spend questioning them. no matter what, no. A single opposition leader would fear the BJP,” Rahul said, shouting from the beachside gathering under the evening clouds.
While Rahul has been vocal about the “abuse of agencies” for several months, it has largely been a centered conflict at the BJP, involving the Board of Directors’ recent 55-hour interrogation of him and claimed that it was impossible to defeat him. His choice to widen the range of his attack by representing and protecting all opposition leaders, marks a major shift.
Before heading to Kanyakumari, Rahul met Prime Minister Bihar and ally Nitish Kumar, while on Wednesday the DMK chief and TN CM Stalin went to Kanyakumari to greet Rahul and then, in a symbolic gesture, presented him with a national flag for the yatra. Stalin also joined Congress leaders in a vigil at the Gandhi memorial. At the rally, Rahul thanked “my brother Stalin”. He started the day by paying his respects at the Sriperumbudur memorial of his late father Rajiv Gandhi.
The opposition comment also makes sense as Udaipur ‘chintan shivir’ has stated that Parliament in the coming years will focus solely on consolidating itself.
Speaking ahead of the meeting, with all allies of Parliament led by Mallikarjun Kharge, Ashok Gehlot, Digvijaya Singh and Bhupesh Baghel on the boulevard, Gandhi’s group said a lot of Indians felt the need to act to unify country because “tricolor is under attack … every organization is under attack by BJP and RSS.”
He alleged that the BJP’s idea of giving control of the country “to certain industries” was similar to that of the East India Company, the only difference being that under Britain it was a company great. The BJP, he said, also represents “the British strategy of getting people to fight for their loot”.
While much of what Rahul said was a repeat from his old offensive newspapers, it is remarkable because it will be part of a five-month long narrative Congress and leaders. Its will propagate in extensive public contact through yatra. The party has limited the yatra to about 22 kilometers a day, with most of the rest of the time spent meeting people and solving problems – clarifying the mobilization plan that underlies the yatra.
As in the Delhi protest on Sunday, Rahul again said the media was controlled by the BJP and stated that Narendra Modi it is not possible to maintain PM for a day without media support.
