Rahul Gandhi On Walking In A T-Shirt
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi spoke today about why he wore only a t-shirt during the cold North Indian winter when his Bharat Jodo Yatra arrived in the nation’s capital. “They keep asking me how I don’t feel cold,” he said, referring to questions from journalists.
“But they don’t ask farmers, workers, poor children this question,” he added, adding that people may not be able to afford basic things like warm clothes.
“I have walked 2,800 km, but I believe it is not a big deal. Farmers walk a lot every day; as well as farm workers, factory workers – practically all of India Degree,” he said, settle the gathering near the Red Fort.

Rahul Gandhi, speaking later when the yatra completed the Delhi leg, said that he had met all kinds of people in the yatra – it started in Kanyakumari and will end in Kashmir – but had not found any. “nafrat” (hate) among ordinary people, “even though I found out dare (fear)”.
He says he can tell just by holding someone’s hand what they’ve done. “When you hold a worker’s hand, you can say – they are hard workers. People like that are not heard; their concerns are captured by a handful of entrepreneurs who now control everything. conceal,” he added.

Actor Kamal Haasan also walked with the Gandhis as the march neared the Red Fort. He then spoke before the meeting and said: “My father is an MP and I have founded my own political party. But I come here as an MP. Kamal Haasan, son of India. Politics comes later… My inner voice tells me to join those who are working to unify India.”
