LONDON – Queen Elizabeth II died of “old age”, according to her death certificate, released by the Scottish registry on Thursday. The certificate, which lists her occupation as Her Majesty the Queen, also states that the queen died at 3:10 pm on 8 September at Balmoral Castle.
The first fact is indisputable, since the queen is 96 years old. But the report gave no further details on the cause her deathtook place two days after she was photographed standing and smiling as she Welcome to the new British Prime Minister, Liz Truss.
The time of death, just after 3pm, was more revealed, coming more than three hours before Buckingham Palace announced it at 6:30pm. That said, no one in her family had seen the queen shortly before her death, other than King Charles III and his sister, Princess Anne, both of whom were in Scotland on official duties.
Her two other sons, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward, and her grandson Prince William arrived at Balmoral, in the Scottish highlands, shortly after 5pm, while Prince Harry, who traveled separately, didn’t get there until before 8pm.
Death certificate registered in Aberdeenshire of Princess Anne. The doctor who certified it was Douglas James Allan Glass, and the Scottish registrar, Paul Lowe, authorized its release.
Buckingham Palace first sounded the alarm about the queen’s condition in a statement issued at 12:35pm on September 8. It said her doctors were concerned about her health and that she had under medical supervision. Members of the royal family immediately began heading to Balmoral Castle.
Ms. Truss just announced a major intervention in energy markets in Parliament as news of the queen’s worsening condition began to circulate in the House of Commons. She left the room right after that. Downing Street has said that Mrs Truss was informed of the queen’s death at 4:30pm
The Queen had problems with mobility for several months before her death. She canceled many public appearances, including much of her Platinum Jubilee celebrations, appearing only briefly on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to watch a jet jet. The force flew over in her honor.
In the photo taken with Mrs. Truss, the queen holds a walking stick in her left hand. She also recovered from a battle with Covid-19 in February, an experience she later said left her exhausted and exhausted.
