Quavo performs emotional song to take off


quavo Put your soul into the Grammy Awards Take off. The 31-year-old musician performed a tribute to his nephew and late The Migos band member, Takeoff, at the 65th Grammy Awards.
Quavo performed a version of his tribute song “Without You”, reflecting the loss of his former collaborator. He was accompanied by the Maverick City Music Choir.

Quavo keeps the Takeoff series on stage at the Grammys
The song was released on January 5, with a music video in which Quavo is seen smoking marijuana while listening to the track. In the song, Quavo expresses grief over Takeoff’s death and longs for the time machine to bring him back.
During the memorial service, Quavo held Takeoff’s necklace in front of him.

He also mentioned their brief collaboration with the line “Unc and Phew till the end.”
