“I love it. I just finished telling them that this is my favorite season playing abroad. Just from my teammates, my coach, the office, to the fans, people are really like the greatest fans I’ve ever had in my entire life. I know many imports say that, but that’s because it’s so true,” says Bierria.
“Volleyball culture, fandom, is amazing. It is truly surreal. I love it here. I am grateful for this opportunity.”
Bierria is still not sure if she will return to PVL but she is definitely ready for a return trip to the Philippines.
“I don’t know. I wasn’t really focused on what’s next. I’m just focused on the present,” she said. The first time that I played, the first time I was exposed, I wanted to play here and I would love to come back.”
