MANILA, Philippines—F2 Logistics has bolstered its bid for a semi-final spot after beating Choco Mucho in four sets at the Premier League Volleyball All-Filipino Conference, 25-23, 25-19, 13-25, 25 -22, at Philsports Arena on Tuesday.

Coach Regine Diego expressed joy after the Cargo Movers improved to a 5-2 record despite a tense game against the Flying Titans, which fell to a dangerous 2-3 record.

“We are happy because even if it was a heart-pounding game, we still won. As long as we win, we’re happy but we can’t relax, especially now because this is not over yet. I always tell them to stop when they’re done, not when they’re tired,” Diego said in Filipino.

“At least they’re always ready.”

Choco Mucho and F2 Logistics fell into an 18-point stalemate in the fourth set before the Cargo Movers went on to exchange 6-3 driven by Kim Kianna Dy and Elaine Kasilag to hit the match point, 24-21.

Maddie Madayag breathed some life into the Flying Titans’ attempt to pull them in round 24-22 but Dy, who finished with a top 23 in the game, settled the issue on his own and delivered the knockdown. knock down win the game.

However, the third set saw F2 Logistics slump after losing one of its key players Myla Pablo to cramps.

Choco Mucho doubled the lead to take a 17-10 lead against Cargo Movers. Since then, F2 Logistics only scored three points until finishing the set with a score of Kat Tolentino sealed the win in the set, 25-13.

“Unfortunately, Ate My [Pablo] got cramps but we just used that as motivation and we said this game would be for her,” Dy said.

Before Pablo was sidelined for the rest of the game, she had 15 points. Aby Maraño also scored 12 points in the F2 win.

Bea De Leon served as the silver lining of Choco Mucho, finishing with 17 points. Tolentino contributed 16 goals in the loss while Madayag also contributed 12 goals in the loss.

As it stands, only Creamline assured to enter the semi-finals after beating the PLDT earlier in the day for a 6-1 record. F2 Logistics’ victory also knocked Cignal and Akari out of the playoffs.
