MANILA, Philippines – Choco Mucho relied on Odina Aliyeva’s 27 explosive points and Denden Lazaro-Revilla’s strong defense to overwhelm F2 Logistics, 25-21, 22-25, 25-20. 26-24, taking the first win in the 2022 Premier League Volleyball League Consolidation Conference on Thursday at Philsports Arena.

Aliyeva, Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan best player, made 25 kills and provided a superb defensive effort with 29 tackles and 14 tackles, helping Revilla secure the ring with libero playing a vital role. important in saving the ball with 26 digs and 11 hits.

“Every game is going to be a tough one for us. I told them we have to want it more, keep the faith and let’s work together,” said Choco Mucho coach Oliver Almadro. “They delivered. Our players are small but terrible. It’s not about the size, it’s about the heart.”

Jem Ferrer shone in her maiden game for Choco Mucho with an excellent 20 sets taking 4 points, as Bea De Leon and Kat Tolentino picked up 11 as their team improved to 1-1, back after a three-set loss to Petro Nhac Gazz last Tuesday.

Stalzer, who was removed from tournament health and safety protocols the day before the match, they had an impressive PVL debut with 26 points but to no avail as F2 Logistics dropped to 0-2.

Kalei Mau has 15 points, 10 digs and six receptions. Ivy Lacsina and Kianna Dy each have eight points, while Aby Marano returned to her original position as a midfield blocker and finished with seven markers, while Ara Galang still played as libero and had 12 receptions and 11 digs.

Choco Mucho looks to keep its momentum in the match against PLDT (1-1) next Thursday, while F2 Logistics
