MANILA, Philippines — In an impossible match to lose, Chery Tiggo overcame Army Black Mamba, 25-22, 25-17, 25-19, to qualify for the final quarter-finals of the 2022 PVL Open Conference on Tuesday at Paco Arena.
With a final score of 1-3, the defending champions ranked 4th while dropping Lady Troopers to the last position with a score of 0-3 in the match in Group A.

The Crossovers ultimately secured an elusive victory after bowing to HD Spikers, F2 Logistics Cargo Movers and Choco Mucho Flying Titans that hampered their ability to hold onto their title.
Army wrapped up its campaign against undefeated leader Cignal HD on Thursday with another loss that formalized Crossover’s time in the next round.
Before that, HD Spikers claim advantage twice to defeat into the quarterfinals after flipping the Choco Mucho Flying Titans, 20-25, 25-17, 25-20, 25-16.
