The Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance (TAA) this year will be at Churchill Downs during Kentucky Horse Racing Week and will be recognized by a race named on the Championship Day card on May 3. During the TAA race, a presentation will be made to the winning connections including a branded blanket and swag bag.

“Churchill Downs is proud to use Champions Day as a platform to recognize the heroes of purebred motorsport. Cathy Shircliff, Churchill Downs Incorporated’s Horse Industry Relations Manager.

“We appreciate the support from Churchill Downs to continue highlighting the importance of recognized aftercare,” said Emily Dresen, Director of the Alliance for Thoroughbred Care, Funding & Events. . “We are looking forward to being present for such an exciting race week.”
