Punjab Police File Case After AAP Accuses BJP Of Trying To Bribe MLAs

The ruling party claims that the BJP has provided Rs 25 crore each for at least 10 MLA. Punjab Minister Bhagwant Mann said the previous BJP’s “Operation Lotus” had failed in Delhi. “Operation Lotus” is a codename used by the Opposition to refer to the “poaching” of BJP MLAs.
The state BJP has called the allegations “baseless” and “lies”.
“The baseless accusation of Punjab Minister Harpal Cheema against BJP overthrowing the state government shows that the AAP is leading to a major division in Punjab. The party is on the verge of disintegration due to Kejriwal’s interference.” , BJP’s Subhash said Sharma.
