Here’s what happened to Hercy Miller and why he was arrested
Earlier this week, TSR reported that Hercy Miller and his Thunderbirds teammates, Brock Felder and Peter Dadson Jr., were arrested for stealing $1,500 worth of refrigerators from a loading dock near the campus bookstore in Cedar City, Utah, on November 27.
KSLTNewsRadio revealed that surveillance footage from November 11 captured the alleged crime, showing three athletes loading refrigerators into their vehicle. Soon after, law enforcement found the stolen refrigerators in two suspects’ apartments and then in the third suspect’s garage.
Hercy and Peter told authorities they thought the refrigerators had been thrown away because they had been on the loading dock for nearly a month, which made them think they could take them away. Brock Felder admitted he helped but insisted others were the ones who came up with the idea. Police later arrested all three men and booked them into the Iron County Jail.
