Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank are expecting their second child.
In a statement, Buckingham Palace said: “Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are delighted to announce that they are expecting their second child this summer.
“The family is delighted and August is looking forward to being a brother.”
Eugenie, 32, announced her pregnancy on social media before a flood of congratulatory comments.
The post garnered more than 70,000 likes in half an hour, and Eugenie’s brother-in-law, Edoardo Mozzi, commented with a few heart emojis.
The couple had their first child, August, in February 2021.
It will be the third grandchild of Prince Andrew and the Duchess of York, after Princess Beatrice’s daughter, Sienna, is born in September 2021.
Eugenie and Mr Brooksbank were married in October 2018 at Windsor Castle in front of 850 guests.
