Buckingham Palace said Monday that Princess Anne, sister of King Charles III, was hospitalized Sunday night after suffering a concussion and other minor injuries in an unspecified accident.
The palace said Anne, 73, remains in hospital in Bristol but is expected to make a “full and speedy recovery”.
The incident happened at the Gatcombe Park estate, her home in southwest England.
The palace added that King Charles had been kept closely informed and said he joined the entire royal family in “sending our most affectionate love and best wishes to the princess for her speedy recovery.” ”.
