Prince Harry ‘Extremely Grateful’ as Invictus Games Founder CEO Steps Down
Prince Harry‘S Invictus Gamesthat he has recently honored with a special ESPY Awardis undergoing a major personnel change as the founding CEO Dominic Reid announced he would resign on Friday.

In the same statement, Harry thanked Reid, whom he called a friend.
“Ten years after the Invictus Games were launched, we are proud to be a community of 23 countries spanning every continent, fulfilling our mission to save and change lives,” said Harry. “I am incredibly grateful to my friend Dominic, whose dedication and leadership have transformed the Invictus Games from an ambitious idea into an internationally recognized movement.”
He went on to praise Reid for “a decade of unwavering service” to the organization.
“It’s been an amazing journey, and we’re so lucky to be working with such a wonderful community,” he said. “We pray that we don’t need the Olympics for another ten years, but thanks to you, the team, and our future CEO, we will be ready.”
Reid called it an honor to work with Prince Harry and the organization, and stressed the importance of Invictus and similar groups. “The uncertain geopolitical landscape we live in today means our work must continue into the future, as more and more service members are injured every day,” he said.
Next Invictus Games, The organization’s first winter gamescheduled to take place in Whistler and Vancouver in February 2025.
