Pravaig Defy EV will be the first Indian car to be offered with a carbon package
Bengaluru-based automaker Pravaig Dynamics has introduced their first electric SUV for the Indian market. It’s called Defy and has a price $39.50 lakh (old showroom), the electric SUV is expected to go into production in the second quarter of 2023. So as of now, only new pre-orders are available. is opened. Now, Pravaig Dynamics has revealed that it will offer Defy a full carbon package. At the moment, it is not known whether Pravaig Dynamics will use the original carbon fiber or what the price will be.
In the images shared by Pravaig Dynamics, it can be seen that the entire exterior of the Defy electric SUV is finished in carbon fiber. If this were real carbon fiber and not just water immersion, the weight of the body panels would be significantly reduced. Technically, this should also help increase the Defy’s driving range.

Speaking of range, Pravaig Dynamics claims a driving range of 500 km on a single charge. The manufacturer claims that the Defy has a top speed of 210 km/h and it can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds.
The battery has a capacity of 90.2. kWh and it can reach 80% in 30 minutes. The powertrain produces a maximum capacity of 402 hp and a maximum torque of 620 Nm. All this power is sent to all four wheels, so there is an all-wheel drive system on offer. Pravaig claims that the battery pack will last 250,000 km.
In addition to the carbon fiber finish, Pravaig Dynamics will offer Defy 11 different paint finishes. Available in Bordeaux, Lithium, Purple Emperor, Siachen Blue, Hindigo, Moon Grey, Haldi Yellow, 5.56 Blue, Shani Black, Kaziranga Blue and Vermillion Red.
