Porsha Williams Wins Prenuptial Agreement in Simon Guobadia Divorce

Details of Porsha’s victory over Simon
Us Weekly A Fulton County, Georgia, court upheld a prenuptial agreement between Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia on (September 12), the court reportedly declared the agreement “empirically fair” after Guobadia challenged the validity of the agreement.
Court documents obtained by Us Weekly show that the prenuptial agreement was designed to prevent costly litigation, disputes and invasive discovery during a divorce.
Simon argues, each EVERYBODYthat Porsha’s return to the reality show would void the prenup due to non-disclosure.
The court rejected Guobadia’s claim that Williams had agreed to give up her career and become a stay-at-home mother and wife throughout their marriage.
According to PEOPLE magazine, the court’s ruling stated:
“The prenuptial agreement at issue in this case was negotiated by the parties with highly competent attorneys over a period of more than a year and included an exchange of financial information, in which the issues of fraud, error, misrepresentation and duress were clearly addressed in many of the provisions of the prenuptial agreement.”
The ruling continued, “The gist of the Husband’s argument could have been stated in the four corners of the parties’ Prenuptial Agreement, but it was not.”
PEOPLE shares that the ruling marks a major victory for Porsha, bringing her closer to finalizing her divorce. As the court upholds the couple’s prenuptial agreement, Simon will be responsible for her legal fees.

Porsha and Simon’s drama began when she filed for divorce in February, just 15 months after their marriage.
According to Us Weekly, a week before Porsha filed for divorce, Bravo revealed that she would be joining season 16 of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ after a two-year hiatus. Porsha was previously a cast member from seasons 5 to 13.
As TSR previously reported, Porsha requested permission to film at their shared residence and filed for an emergency injunction on May 20. She argued that filming while at home was essential to maintaining her income and employment, and claimed that Guobadia had no reasonable grounds to prevent her from filming at their residence.
Porsha explained that she thought Simon was trying to stop her from revealing personal information about him during filming. She said she would avoid filming in “private” areas with her estranged husband.
Before Porsha made her request, Simon reportedly sent a cease and desist letter to the production company of the show ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ in March. Page six Simon reportedly asked the company to stop filming at his Georgia mansion and claimed he owned the property outright.
