The latest version of this large Porsche 4×4 was introduced at the end of 2017, and is the third generation in the Cayenne range. While the previous-generation Cayenne was available with either a V6 or a V8 diesel engine, for the new model Porsche is focusing on petrol and plug-in hybrid engines for the time being.
With the growing popularity of SUV-coupes Porsche also introduced Cayenne Coupe, which strips away a bit of practicality for a slimmer coupe-like body. It’s available with the same engine choice and trim levels as the standard SUV, but with the addition of a £150,000 Turbo GT, one of the fastest SUVs money can buy.
The launch lineup for the MkIII consisted of only the 542hp Turbo V8 and a pair of turbocharged V6s, but the arrival of the E-Hybrid and the Turbo S E-Hybrid delivered a welcome dose of economy. for range without compromising performance associated with Porsche cars.
