Police launch appeal after five people go missing following night out in Cardiff | UK News



Police are calling for help in finding five people who disappeared after a night out in Cardiff.

Sophie Russon, 20, Eve Smith, 21, and Darcy Ross, 21, were last seen in the early hours of Saturday after arriving in the Welsh capital from the town of Porthcawl.

The three women, all from Newport, South Wales, were last seen in the Llaneeyrn area of ​​Cardiff around 2am on Saturday.

They made the trip in a Volkswagen Tiguan with two men, Rafel Jeanne, 24, and Shane Loughlin, 32, both from Cardiff, who have also been reported missing.

Gwent Police posted on Twitter: “We are appealing for information to find three women, from Newport, all reported missing.

“If you have any information, please call us. All five are also encouraged to contact us to confirm they are safe and healthy.”

The three women are said to have gone to the Muffler sports and social club in Maesglas on Friday night and then to Trecco Bay before moving to an unspecified location, according to the family.

Worried family and friends, who have made appeals on Facebook, say it is not normal for the women to stay in touch.
