How to relearn moves in Scarlet and Violet
You can ask Pokemon to memorize moves from their move summary page. Open the menu and choose one of the Pokemon in your party, or go to your box and select the Pokemon you want. Go to their summary and tilt the control bar to the right to change from the dashboard to the scrolling summary.
Then, press “A” to open a list of all the moves that the Pokemon has previously learned and forgotten. These may include move eggsas shown in the image below, showing Tandemaus and Baby-Doll Eyes, a move they usually don’t learn as they level up.
Remember that you can only remember moves that a Pokemon has learned through leveling up or Egg Moves. You can’t remember the TM moves you chose to forget, and not all evolved Pokemon – including Raichu – can learn the moves their pre-evolved forms would. normally. And it goes without saying that you can’t relearn moves a Pokemon hasn’t learned yet.
There’s no limit to how many times you can relearn a move, and there’s no fee, so there’s no need to budget for Heart Scales around this time. You can also access this feature as soon as you get your first Pokemon. Your Pokemon Starter will know the moves of their Eggs, but you should check any new Pokemon you catch to see if they ever know a skill that could be useful to memorize.
