Pokémon Brilliant Diamond And Shining Pearl: Head to Snowpoint City to get a special Easter egg today
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl have been out for a few months, and while many players have likely conquered the Elite Four and captured their mascot legends, there’s still a lot of work to be done in the region’s remakes. Sinnoh.
For example, only today you can visit Snowpoint City to witness a fun and classic easter egg. Going back to the original Gen IV games, if you visit Snowpoint City on January 12, you’ll see “diamond dust” falling all over town. While the game doesn’t necessarily indicate that, it’s an easter egg nod to Pokémon director and composer, Junichi Masuda, as noted by Eurogamer. You can see diamond dust in Serebii’s Joe Merrick’s Twitter video below:
As Merrick pointed out, January 12 is not only a good day to see a great Easter egg, but it’s also a great day to hunt for rare Pokémon or try to hatch some much needed eggs. step. That’s because in addition to diamond dust, January 12th also brings encounter and hatch rate boosts for Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
While diamond dust may seem like a fantasy, it’s actually rooted in reality – it happens here on Earth. It’s basically just small ice crystals that fall like snow. Because of their aesthetic nature, diamond dust is a fitting description.
Be sure to visit Snowpoint City for an Easter egg once a year (although diamond dust does fall on other days, today is the only day it falls in honor of Masuda’s birthday). You will not regret it!
