Poco F5 5G Surfaces on EEC certification site, may launch soon: All details

Poco is purportedly working on a new mid-range smartphone, said to be the Poco F5 5G. Some purported details of this smartphone were revealed in a recent report. Meanwhile, a Poco smartphone with model number 23013PC75G was discovered by a tipper on the EEC certification website. The handset is said to be the rumored Poco F5 5G. The listing does not include any information regarding the specifications of the smartphone. However, this certification means that it could soon hit the global market.

The alleged Poco F5 5G listing on the EEC certification website is spot by tipper Mukul Sharma (Twitter: @stufflistings). The listed handset carries model number 23013PC75G, which could be a global variant of the Poco smartphone. Unfortunately, there are no other details mentioned in the EEC listing regarding the phone’s specifications. Gadgets 360 can confirm list for smartphones with a purpose on the database.

According to a recent reportPoco F5 5G will initially launch as Redmi K60 in China. Soon, the smartphone is supposed to make its way to global markets, including India. These handsets are said to feature AMOLED displays with 2K resolution (1,440×3,200 pixels). The display is also said to offer a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,000 nits of brightness. Redmi K60 and Poco F5 5G are said to be equipped with the 1st generation Snapdragon 8 SoC.

Meanwhile, variants of Poco F5 5G in China, India and globally were also detected on the IMEI database. They have model numbers 23013RK75C, 23013PC75I and 23013PC75G respectively. Based on the model number, it is believed that this smartphone could launch in January next year.

To recall, Poco F4 5G to be launched in India earlier this year in June. It has a 6.67-inch full-HD+ E4 AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, this smartphone has a Snapdragon 870 SoC. As for optics, it has a 64-megapixel triple rear camera setup and a 20-megapixel selfie camera.
