PM’s Open Letter To Himachal Pradesh Day Before It Votes

The day before the vote in Himachal Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote a letter to the people of the polled hill state affirming the “dual engine government” – BJP in both Central and State. – has accelerated development work in border areas of the state that have been “neglected for decades”. Prime Minister Modi also accused Parliament of blocking the Center’s plan in the state.
“When I was elected in the Center in 2014, and there was another party in power in Himachal Pradesh, they blocked the Center’s plots here. Only when the BJP came to power in the state in 2017, the development just start fast. You must not stop now,” he said.

The prime minister also stated that his party has made several efforts to make life easier for the “sisters and mothers” in the state. Pointing to the Ujjwala plan, to build toilets and running water in every home, he said many such plans have been advanced and are now showing results.

Calling on the people of the state to vote in large numbers, Prime Minister Modi said each vote would strengthen him.
