PM Modi hands out appointment letters to 71,000 youths | India News
NEW DELHI: PM ONLY Narendra Modi on Tuesday distributed about 71,000 appointment letters to new recruits via videoconference and said the Center is working in “mission mode” to provide government jobs for young people.
Calling it a “starting point” for recruits in public service and nation-building, he said it meant a new world of progress had now opened up before them.
“Elevate yourself by acquiring knowledge while working and improving your abilities by learning good things from your seniors… In the new responsibility you all have about to take over, you will be appointed as the representative of the Center. You should focus on building capacity to deliver your services as a public servant,” he said when speaking at the second “Rozgar Mela” (job fair).
Real copies of appointment letter have been handed over at 45 locations across India except Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh where the model code of conduct is in force.
