PlayStation announces 13 VR2 launch games plus VR updates for Gran Turismo 7


As announced in a recent blog post, 13 new games are coming to PlayStation VR2, and they’re all slated to release “within a month of launch on February 22.” They are as follows:

  • Before your eyes
  • VR Kayaking: Mirage
  • Pavlov Virtual Reality
  • confusing place
  • Song in the Smoke: Rekindled
  • Synth Riders: Remake
  • Knock
  • Professional NFL Era
  • What is this?
  • Infinite Rez
  • Tetris effect
  • Creed Rise to Glory: Champion Edition
  • The last watch

The blog post also mentions that Gran Turismo 7 will receive a free VR2 update on launch day. A statement from the president of Polyphony Games details that “While 2-player split-screen races are not supported in VR, all other races, including online races, will be availability.” In case you lose it, Resident Evil Village will also receive a VR update on release day.

This list of 13 people joins the existing lineup of 11 VR games PlayStation announced last November and six games announced in December. Combined with previously announced titles, like Horizon: Call of the Mountain, PlayStation VR2 will have over 30 games available to play within a month of launch.

PlayStation VR2 will launch on February 22, just over a month from today. A few months ago, we learned that base model will cost $549.99with the option to combine it with Horizon Call the Mountain for an extra $50.
