Pixel Buds Pro launched in India: Price and key features of Google’s Apple AirPods Pro rival
Google is also expanding its headphone portfolio in India with the launch of Pixel Buds Pro. Google Pixel Buds Pro are the most premium variant of the company’s in-ear true wireless earbuds. The Buds Pro are also the first pair of Pixel Buds to support active noise cancellation (ANC) from the company. Google announced the Pixel 6a and Pixel Buds Pro smartphones at this year’s edition of its annual developer event, I/O in May.
Google Pixel Buds Pro price and available in India
Google Pixel Buds Pro will be available for a starting price of Rs 19,990 on Flipkart starting from July 28. These premium over-ear headphones, Pixel Buds Pro, come in four color options: Coral, Lemongrass, Dew Blind and Than. Buds Pro has a soft matte finish with a two-tone design.
Pixel Buds Pro: Key Features
The earbuds feature a custom 6-core audio processor and use custom algorithms for noise cancellation. They also use a feature called ‘Silence Mark’ which Google says can adjust to the shape of the user’s ear to maximize the amount of noise removed. With custom designed 11mm drivers, Volume EQ automatically adjusts the adjustment based on volume level. 5-band EQ helps customize the sound to each person’s liking. The Pixel Buds Pro also have a Transparency Mode with pressure sensors inside them. Google says it actively measures the pressure inside your ear so the headphones can relieve pressure to keep them comfortable, although it’s unclear exactly how they do this.
Pixel Buds Pro comes with multipoint connectivity, which means users can automatically switch between your previously paired Bluetooth devices – including laptops, tablets, TVs, and phones. Android and iOS.
Google Pixel Buds Pro waterproof
The headphones are IPX4 waterproof and the case is IPX2 waterproof. Other notable features include a beamforming microphone, a voice accelerometer, a windshield, multi-point connectivity, touch controls, and hands-free Google Assistant support with real-time translation.
Pixel Buds Pro to get this Apple AirPods feature later this year
Google is also borrowing a feature from the Apple AirPods – Spatial Audio. Pixel Buds Pro will receive an update later this year that will enable Spatial Audio support. Users can enjoy surround sound effects while viewing spatial audio content on compatible Pixel phones.
