The Pixel 7 was launched in India on Thursday as the company’s latest Pixel-branded smartphone. The phone is powered by the second-generation Tensor G2 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It is equipped with a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup, along with a 10.8-megapixel selfie camera. The Pixel 7 has a 6.3-inch OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It runs on newly launched Android 13 and is expected to receive OS and security updates for 5 years. It has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

Pixel 7 vs Pixel 6 and iPhone 14: Price in India
Pixel 7 Prices in India start from Rs. 59,999 for 8GB RAM + 128GB storage only model, sold in Lemongrass, Obsidian, and Snow color options.
While comparing, Pixel 6 was launched in October 2021 for $599 (about Rs 45,000). The handset is available in Katherine Coral, Sorta Seafoam and Stormy Black color options, which did not make its debut in India.
Meanwhile, iPhone 14″ was launched in India in September with a starting price of Rs. 79,999. The handset is available in Blue, Midnight, Purple, Starlight and (Product) Red color options.
Pixel 7 vs. Pixel 6 and iPhone 14: Specifications
The Pixel 7, Pixel 6, and iPhone 14 all have dual-SIM connectivity, and the Pixel 7 and Pixel 6 run on Android 13, while the iPhone 14 runs on iOS 16, the latest version of Apple’s mobile operating system.
The newly launched Pixel 7 has a 6.3-inch (1,080×2,400) full-HD+ OLED display while the Pixel 6 has a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) OLED display and both phones. All phones support 90Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the iPhone 14 comes with a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display.

Google has equipped the Google Pixel 7 with a 4,335mAh battery, while the Pixel 6 has a slightly larger 4,614mAh battery.
