PH team Uratex Dream sees action in ABL 3×3 tournament

MANILA, Philippines – Uratex Dream will represent the country at the Asean 3×3 International Champions Cup Women’s Basketball this weekend in Bali, Indonesia.
Two-stage champion of Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL) will compete in an eight-team pitch, which includes Pool A teammates Team Lions, Lourve Indonesia and VN Red and Gold as well as Pool B’s Delhi 3BL, Jumpshot, Elite and Harimau Malaya.
Uratex coach Kat Quimpo is leaning towards Kaye Pingol, Tina Deacon, Sam Harada and Eunique Chan.
“We will be international!” Uratex posted on Facebook. “We are proud to announce that Uratex Dream Team is the flagship in the 2022 Women’s 3×3 International Championship.”
The Filipinos will open their campaign on Saturday with Team Lions at 10:25am before taking on VN Red and Gold at 5:20pm. They will limit the day to face Lourve Indonesia at 9:10 pm.
Uratex must make the top two in its group to advance to Sunday’s semi-finals, where the winners of the four finals will also clash in a championship match.
